Netbook is one of the biggest success story in 2008. However, Intel suggests that they are not satisfied with the size of the product. Stu Pann from Intel said that this company has a different point of view of netbook.

Pann said that Intel “At first, Intel thought that netbook will be used in developing countries and for small children. However, most netbooks are sold in Western Europe and North America. They travel frequently, but need a notebook . We look netbook only as additional market share to our existing today. ”

Seeing its popularity, maybe you do not know that netbook was launched one year ago. Meanwhile, Intel’s new Atom was launched six months ago. Intel thinks that with its small screen size (about 10 inches), the customers can not use it in a whole day, maybe just a few hours. Performance and comfort are important. Both of them ar two main things that we will consider if we want to buy a laptop. Not all of people think more about probability.

In brief, netbook will not fully replace the notebook, as well as notebook will not completely replace the desktop. Of course, many of us wants a quality of performance and comfort rather than portabily.

This concept seems fantastic from Dell. The idea is that the stick is used that contains two flexible deployment of monitors. OLED screens are tight and can run in the relay when you want to carry the device around on Dell XPS Baton.

When out an electrical charge is sent to the screen making it rigid and used as a computer monitor and keyboard.

If you do not want a laptop and instead prefer an eBook, then roll on just one screen. If you want to work from an office, then you can leave the wound screens and just put the bat on a docking station that attaches to a screen and keyboard.
